A rural hash in Clarendon, past Freetown.  Location has a bar but also a fresh spring pool.  No rivers to cross, no hills to climb!  Dry bush country.

Hash Directions

Summary. You are driving West out of Kingston, on the Mandeville Toll road. You exit at the Freetown exit. From there you on country road to the location, which is about 20 minutes away. Overall journey time – about 90 minutes or less.

Directions from Kingston.
• Head west. Travel along the Mandela highway. (CAUTION. A lot of road works still continuing on the highway and big lorries turning everywhere).
• Take Highway 2000, which is the LEFT slip road, off the Mandela highway. Signposted towards Mandeville.
• Travel along the Toll road. Pass through the first toll booth.
• Shortly after the toll booth you must exit the toll road at the Freetown exit.
• Once you off the toll road, you will join the main road at a T junction.
• The Hi Pro Feed factory is directly in front of you.
• Turn RIGHT at the T junction. Continue along the road until you reach a Total gas station. Turn LEFT at the gas station. You are now on Salt River Road.
• Continue along this road, a longish stretch.
• You reach to a sharp left and then right corner/bends.
• After the bends look out for the Babsy Bar stop, where we will be parked. The bar is on the left side of the road. It is a blue and building.

Hash Extras

Bring your swimming costume. Can bathe in the spring pools. Hash Circle in the pool! It will be hot and dry. Please carry water if needed for the run. The journey is suitable for all vehicles.
