Event Description
This hash will take us into the lush mountains of St. Mary. Although the hash will not pass through any rivers, we will be close enough to a waterfall so that persons wanting to take a swim can do so if they’re so inclined.

Hash Directions
From Manor Park, take the Junction road and drive north across the Island. The trip will take at least 1hr 45mins. You turn left at the Westmoreland Bridge and drive to Highgate. Palmetto Grove is a short drive after Highgate. Details Approximately 3km after the bridge, the road will fork at an area called Lewis Store - keep LEFT. Continue through the town of Clonmel. Shortly after that you will pass Mary Mount High School on your right as you approach the town of Highgate. Pass Highgate Friends Church (Quaker) on the right, then keep RIGHT at the next fork. Take the LEFT at the fork which follows after St. Mary High School. Follow this road towards Highgate town square. Keep to the LEFT side of the clock tower in Highgate. (NB. this is a one-way road). Continue on this road for a few minutes more and you will pass St. Cyprian's Anglican Church. Approximately 4km later you will pass through the town of Deans Pen – please note, the road now boasts a renewed assault of potholes. About ten minutes later you will approach another fork with a road sign that reads 'Kilancholy', keep LEFT here and continue onwards. As you follow this road you will approach a bend in the road with a peach building located on your right and a broken 'Palmetto Grove' sign on your left. You have arrived! Hurrah! Proceed a few hundred meters further and you will see an empty lot on left side of road. Park up. NB. Hash starts at 12.30 pm. Oh Yes. Some Hash signs will hopefully be present! Start at Manor Park and proceed through Golden Spring and Castleton. Continue as if you are going to the Robert Schumann roundabout.
NB. Before you reach the Robert Schumann roundabout, (about 4 kilometres before you reach north side of the Island), turn LEFT and cross the Westmoreland Bridge and make your way towards Highgate. The road following the bridge is laden with potholes so make your way with caution.
