Hash Extras
For the historian in you all: The railway line at Scott’s Pass is part of the Kingston to Montego Bay 113 mile railway line that was laid between 1845 and 1895. The 24 and half mile section from Old Harbour to Porus (of which Scott's Pass falls within) was added in 1885. The two tunnels you pass through on Hash 525 form part of thirteen tunnels that were built on this line. They are the first two tunnels on the line, and located at 44.25 and 44.50 miles from Kingston! For further information see The History of Railroads/ways in Jamaica. (online)
