Hash Directions
Ok Hashers, you’re going in the same direction as our last Hash, but it's just a little further along the road. You first need to get to Buff Bay. So drive to the north side of the Island again. You take the road up to Stony Hill, down to Golden Spring and stay on the main road (passing through Castleton and the cardboard policeman with a radar gun!). When you reach the north side you come to the Robert Schuman roundabout. You turn RIGHT at the roundabout and drive along the main coast road to Buff Bay. (The sea needs to be on your left side!) NB.NB. A reminder. The Junction road is SLOW and the first part in a poor condition. Give yourself plenty of time to reach and drive carefully. Journey time from Manor Park – about 1hr 30/4 See this Google pin reference:https://goo.gl/maps/3orYoJez9dWqd6qR6
Upon reaching Buff Bay, you are about 6.5km from the location. You continue to drive through Buff Bay, staying on the main coastal road. Shortly after leaving Buff Bay you will cross the large bridge over the Spanish river.
Upon reaching Orange Bay Main Road, and as you pass the ‘Orange Bay Infant and Primary School’ stone sign (which is your right), the main road turns a sharp right angle. However, you will turn LEFT (almost going straight on) onto Wharf Road. There is a bright yellow/orange painted shop, with large painted Lucozade bottle murals and a 'Rum & Rounds' roadside advertisement hoarding. Keep these buildings/signs to your right as you enter Wharf Road.
Abut 1km further along is the Hash circle. Park up. Find a space.
Hash Extras
The Hashmaster is informed this is a gentle and easily manageable Hash trail. Probably just about 5km. no rivers, no steep slopes and no bush Enjoy and relax after by sea. If sea not rough, swimming is possible. Bring your swimwear.
