Event Description
“Hashers!” Where are the volunteer Hares? All missing in action?
This Sunday trail is an ’emergency’ Hash trail, by HashMaster, as no one stepped forward. This trail was completed last year, but only eight of us turned up, because apparently it was raining a lot. I know, pathetic.
A lovely little trail, of about 6km. Starting from Cafe Blue, we go behind Strawberry Hill hotel on narrow path, downhill (steepish in places) towards Maryland. A circular route which leads back up the Dustry parochial road (yes, uphill!) and back to cafe.
A fine workout, easily manageable, and after recent 10km and 9km walks, this is easy at 6km.
Hash Details
Emergency Hash. Food can be obtained at Cafe Blue, where our circle will be held. NB. NB NB. Beer will be provided for the circle and 'offenders'. Otherwise Hashers to purchase their beer at the Cafe. Or bring a few of own?!!!!

Hash Directions
We were all at Cafe Blue location on 14 May, for the Gordon Town/Bermuda Mount circle. We meet again at Cafe Blue, which is about 300m past Irish Town police station, on the main road. For those really new - leave Kingston via Papine, and take the main driving road as if going toward Newcastle and Holywell. The cafe is very visible, about 25 minutes from Papine, on right side of road. Parking is in and around Cafe Blue, but please do NOT park directly outside the restaurant. There are spaces, but may require walking a couple of 100 metres back to Cafe.
Hash Extras
This is a relatively easy trail. It is on forest footpath, parochial road and last 1km is on the driving road. 2km is downhill, on single file pathway, in sections. No rivers. No ridge lines.
