Event Description
“Hashers”! A gentle river walk along both sides of the Spanish river, trailing across pathway and some bush and crossing the river at least twice.
For those who attended our 2022 Hash Olympics gathering, we are back at the same location, but a different trail. The weather is hot, so get out of Kingston and walk this easy trail (no hills!). We will cover some lovely forest and river views and also relax by the river. The river is low and easily passable.

Hash Directions
See this Google link for Hash circle location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/CJCdLScQzJBeWahNA Take thwe main road to the north coast, via the Stony Hill route. At the Robert Schumann roundabout on north side turn RIGHT and drive the coast road towards Buff Bay. Pass through Buff Bay. After leaving Buff Bay, and about 4km along, you'll reach Spring Garden. Take the RIGHT turn off the main road by a bus stop. (Hash sign will be there. Do look out for it!) Once on the side road, it is 5km straight along the road, which takes you directly to Skibo. As you approach Skibo, you cross a small, single lane iron bridge. Once over the bridge, turn LEFT down a small road next to the shops on the left side. Drive down the lane until you reach the end. You'll see us. Park up.
Hash Extras
This is a gentle Hash. Less than 5km. No hill climbs. The route passes along both sides of the Spanish river. We cross it twice. You will get wet feet and ankles. River (at present) is low. Bring swimwear, and towel.
