Hashers! No one stepped forward for a Hash trail. So this rough and ready trail courtesy of Hashmaster and Never Screams.
We’ll start at Redlight (just 2km beyond Cafe Blue) and take a lovely hill and forest trail which circuits the beginnings of the Hope river. It’s about 5km and on clear forest trails, through old forest, and small community of Settlement. The Hope river source and tributaries should be in full flow after the recent rains, with some falls and a fine water pool along the route.
NB. This trail will be live marking, as time will not permit earlier trail marking.
Hash Details
No meals provided. But both Redlight and Cafe Blue are very local and can supply a meal. NB. Only Hash circle beer on this Hash. Plese bring own beers/drinks, or buy from the four or five bars in Redlight.

Hash Directions
From Papine drive up to Irish Town, and past Cafe Blue, (where we have met often in past months) and drive a further 2km to Redlight. Redlight is the long linear community with small stalls/bars and cook shops either side of the road. Please find anywhere to park up along road, or just before or after the strip. We will meet on the road, at the pathway which leads down to RafJam.
Hash Extras
This route is clear of bush and on firm pathway. No rivers to wade through. Small and easily manageable climb up pathway and parochial road.

Please to remember and note for your diary. The Hero's weekend, Sat/Sun 14-15 October will be our Hash Olympics at Treasure Beach, St Elizabeth. Hash 593 will be at Golden Sands, Treasure Beach. (Mon 16th is the public holiday) If attending do start thinking about booking accommodation. Golden Sands accommodation is very reasonably priced, but there are plenty of different options available.
