Event Description
“Hashers!” Pork Scratchings has arranged for us to have access to an empty stretch of the White river, on a piece of undeveloped land. The river is quite beautiful and you will be able to swim.
The trail is short, about 3km, alongside the river and also the Exchange road. The is a small amount of riverside bush and wonderful views of the river and other pools. This is away from the general tourist access points and quite deserted. The short trail will allow you to relax at the river Hash site and a meal.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/FMZjaq2j5Awu5J2Q9 Please see this Google Link. You need to drive to Ocho Rios - either on the Highway or the old route, or a mix of Highway and old route. Drive through Ocho Rios, (in an easterly direction; that's away from Montego Bay direction!) and turn RIGHT on to Exchange Road, at the set of traffic lights which are just before the bridge across the White river. There is a petrol station on your right at the traffic lights. From this point you are 6km from the location. Drive along the Exchange Rd. This changes in to Bonham Spring to Lodge Rd and then the Lodge Main Rd. In the last 1km, you will pass by a small reservoir on your left side. Continue on road for about 400m. Cross a single lane metal bridge and the gate entrance is immediately on your RIGHT as you cross the bridge. There will be a Hash sign at location. NB. Plan in advance. Do use the Google pin reference!

We do not wade the river. Swimming is available at the Hash circle. Bring your swimming costumes and towels. NB. NB. NB. Please register for this Hash, as we need to know food numbers. If the website causes issues (sorry) please send me a text (Hashmaster on 876 878 0270) re your food choice.
