Event Description
“Yes Hashers!” 2024 is upon us. Time to exercise. This trail is 7.5km and is a montage of parts of trails some of you will have completed, and other sections will be new to you all. A beautiful circle on forest trials and farmer’s paths, as we navigate down to the Hope river valley, cross the river, and circle around above it and cross a small fording.
Everything is lush and green and the tributaries are still full and flowing. Last section is on the quiet road from Redlight back to Cafe Blue.

Hash Directions
We will meet at Cafe Bue, which is in Irish Town. Take the main driving road from Kingston, out via Papine, turn Left off the Gordon Town road, where there are numerous signs for Holywell and Newcastle, etc. The drive is all up hill, and takes about 20 minutes from the left turn. We have held a number of Hashes starting from Cafe Blue in 2023.
Hash Extras
A relatively easy and comfortable trial. Seven and half kilometers. We cross the Hope river twice and one small tributary. You may get your foot/feet wet on the first crossing. Not deep, just not wadable without getting at least one foot wet! Route is on clear parochial road, track, farmer's path or last section on the road. And yes, it does involve downhill and uphill!
