“Oh yes Hashers”! Enough of this laziness. HashMaster finds another trail for you. Another lovely walking trail from Cafe Blue, Irish Town, down back pathways and parochial roads in a circle of about 6km? A quiet, peaceful trail, on a good clear path and route and fine views of Kingston and a drying reservoir!

Hash Directions
We will meet at Cafe Blue, Irish Town. We have all gathered here for a good number of Hashes in recent years. For those new: Leave out of Kingston, via Papine and take the main driving road towards Newcastle/Holywell. You drive uphill, all the way for about 30/35 minutes and you will reach Irish Town. Cafe Blue is about 400yds further along the road. Park up in and around Cafe Blue (but not directly outside the Cafe's entrance doors please), and we will meet for a 10.00am departure. Oh yes.
Hash Extras
Ok Hashers - focus please. This is only 6km, on an easily navigable route. However, it is not a flat route (Emancipation Park does that!) and this trail does involve traversing both up and down pathways, some steepish but not insurmountable. The walking route is a mix of driving road, (1.8km), rough parochial road and farmers' and community pathways. PLEASE BE REMINDED. All hill and forest walking requires a level of good fitness, mobility, and an ability to 'keep up' and recover. Please note, the back marker Hare's main role is to ensure Hares are guided long the route. If unable to complete a trail, please do not attempt it. Walk a small part on the flat and return.
