Hash Directions
Ok, we were here in Oct 2022 and in August 2023. A journey of about one and half/two hours from Manor Park. Do take this route, not some other route Google maps may take you! Leave Kingston, via Manor Park and take the main driving road to the north coast, via Stony Hill. Travel all the way to the north side of the island, passing through Castelton. At the Robert Schumann roundabout on north side turn RIGHT and drive the coast road towards Buff Bay. Pass through Anotto Bay and Buff Bay. After leaving Buff Bay, and about 4km along, you'll reach Spring Garden. Take the RIGHT turn off the main road, by a concrete bus stop, on to the Spring Garden main road. Once on the side road, it is 5km straight along the road, which takes you directly to Skibo. You will pass the Lifespan Water factory, (on your right side) and just before Skibo, the Skibo Primary school, also on your right side Just before you reach Skibo, you cross a small, single lane iron bridge. Once over the bridge, turn LEFT down a small road next to the shops on the left side. Drive down the lane until you reach the end. You'll see us. Park up. Hash Extras
The Hare says this is a forest Hash, with wide trails. Recently cut by farmers, for us! The trail is about 7km, please note, this is equivalent to just short of 5 miles. Be fit enough to walk this distance. There are medium gradients. We cross the Spanish river twice. We will get wet feet/ankles. It may even rain, just like Langely Great house trial. Bring a change of clothing and a towel. .
