Event Description

“Hashers”.  The Hash planned for Sunday 1st Dec is on, but with some changes.  The two identified locations for 1st Dec, were not possible to finalise.  Weather and rains have not helped.  As an ’emergency’ Hash we will meet up at Cafe Blue, Irish Town, for those who need to get out.   But NOTE.  The trail is not marked, and there is no beer or food laid on.  So no $700 JMD fee.

The trail is forest paths.  About 8km.  All will need to keep up, as paper wont be down, but I can try, en route, to mark some parts.

Hash Directions

We will meet at Cafe Blue, Irish Town, St Andrew.  This is about 40 minutes drive frm Kingston.  We have been there often.  Leave Kingston via Papine, and just travel up the main road, uphill, the whole waty, untul you reach Irish Town and Cafe Blue.  Park up neatly at side of road, where you can fina a space.

NB.  If coming you do need to be on time!.  As no paper, you wont find your way, if late and trying to catch up!  This is a trail Hares have done a number of times, and so too a few (very few) Hashers.

Hash Extras

This is not a usual Hash. Done at very short notice, and trial not marked. No beers or food laid on, but can get from Cafe Blue. About 8km. We cross the Mammee river half way, which may be ankle deep and flowing. There should be a plank to cross!
