A lovely hash-location in rural St. Catherine; There's a river with a rock-pool to swim in (bring your swim gear); a moderate 4 kilometer hike awaits you - false trails not included; parking space is limited; rest rooms are not available (there's a river, remember ?); bring insect repellant, a hat and sun protection. No littering ! - you're a guest in the country (Jamaica, land we love) - offenders will be named & shamed !

How We Got There:

Approximately 90 minutes by car from 6 Miles. From Kingston, head to Bog Walk via Spanish Town / Angels OR Red Hills / Sligoville (recommended). In Bog Walk, follow the main road (Linstead Bypass in the general direction of Ocho Rios) and turn right at the second traffic light from Bog Walk (NOT including the traffic light at Flatbridge). At this intersection, there is a purple coloured house on your left - so here you turn right, don't miss this turn off. This is called Rose Hall Road. From here, follow the road for 7.4km, passing through Sunny Side and New Works; right after a narrow bridge you turn right (the sign points right to Dover Castle). Immediately after your right turn there is another narrow bridge; follow the road for 4.4km, going straight all the way passing Traveler's Rest (on your left), through Dover Castle, Sunshine Stop (on your right), Redwood Clinic (on your right) and Cedar Valley until you reach a T-junction - turn LEFT here. Follow the road for another 600m and turn left again. Cross the ford (wading), follow this road for 300m and park here, next to the road. The hash location is on your right, on the bank of the river.
