You will be exploring rural eastern Portland. Hashing through forests and farm land. The location is at foot of the John Crown mountains. It is about 5.5km.
There are two routes. Approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes driving time.
You can either take:
The southern route: St. Thomas route (via Morant Bay, Golden Grove and Manchioneal) or
The northern route: St. Mary/Portland Route (via Anotto Bay, Port Antonio and Boston)
GPS Location: The roads are in both cases of questionable quality. But whatever, be there for 12.00 NOON, 12.00 NOON, 12.00 NOON!!!!

Southern route (Hare's choice):
From Kingston, travel east via Harbour View, Yallahs, Morant Bay eastwards along the St. Thomas coast. Continue through Port Morant, pass Golden Grove.
Make sure to turn RIGHT at Amity Hall and continue through Hector's River and Manchioneal.
All along you'll find great views over the ocean. Time to pay attention to where you are!
Soon after Manchioneal you'll get to the district of Long Bay,
and immediately after Long Bay you will reach Fair Prospect.
Pay close attention now:
you need to find, on your RIGHT hand side, the entrance gate of "Buubi North Point Estates" it is clearly written on the wall. Don't miss this.
After passing "Buubi North Point Estates" on your RIGHT, you take the first turn off to the LEFT. This is 180 meters from said estate. (so away from the coast!) If you miss it, you'll end up in Boston.
After making this LEFT turn, you've nearly reached the hash location.
Follow this country road for a bit more than 1 km, when..
Turn RIGHT following the sign "Windsor Forest Primary School".
After this right turn, follow the road uphill for another 250 meters and you'll find the Hash terrain (school grounds) on your right.
Park along the road and report to Hash Cash to pay your contribution. NB. DO NOT PARK IN THE SCHOOL GROUNDS.
Northern route (if you really want to):
From Kingston, travel north on Junction Route via Stony Hill, Friendship Gap to the north coast (Robert Schuman roundabout).
Turn RIGHT. Travel east, along the northern coast.
Passing through Anotto Bay, Buff Bay, passing Orange Bay, through Black Hill, Hope Bay, passing Somerset Falls and through St. Margarets Bay.
Continue through Port Antonio, passing San San, Blue Lagoon and Boston.
Now it's time to pay
In Boston, you must locate the famous Boston jerk pits which are on your left.
Continue on the main road (past the jerk pits) for 6km,
Then turn RIGHT off the main road.
Follow this country road for a bit more than 1 km, when
Turn RIGHT following the sign "Windsor Forest Primary School".
After this right turn, follow the road uphill for another 250 meters and you'll find the Hash terrain (school grounds) on your right.
Park along the road and report to Hash Cash to pay your contribution.
NB. DO NOT PARK IN THE SCHOOL GROUNDS.
