Event Description

A rural hash in the forest and lands above Buff Bay.  Pass through the abandoned Mount Pellier great house ruins.

NO MEALS available!!! Please bring sandwiches. Maybe some soup. But there are many places to purchase food on return - Annotto Bay, Friendship Gap, Castelton. (all post Hash beer stops)

Hash Directions

This is quite straightforward. A journey of about 60km.  Travel time 1 hr 40mins.

SUMMARY.  You travel to Buff Bay.  Turn right at Buff Bay and the location is short distance up the road.

Detail.  

From Manor Park travel to the northt coast, via the Stony Hill route.  Passing through Castelton and Friensdhip Gap.

At Robert Schumann roundabout.  Turn RIGHT.  Traverl along coast road to Buff Bay.  This is clearly signposted.

At Buff Bay, BEFORE you cross the bridge which passes over the Buff river take the RIGHT turn.

Travel along the road and then take a RIGHT turn, where you will see a community sign for Mount Vernon.  Travel along the this road.  Stop where you use the JAHS signs.  NB.  The road runs out, becomes difficult!

Park at side of road or some in Bruce's yard.

This is quite rural. NB. No toilet facilities for ladies. No river crossing!
