Event Description
A wonderful trail along a forest pathway, by the White river. We cross the river, then a walk to the White river Hydro electric plant, with fantastic river views. Then a return across the river again at the rafting centre. About 6km. Some inclines!
This is a 11.00am start. Please note. Arriving after departure will not help you across the river.

Ok, some of you were here in April 2018. It is the same location. The drive will take about an hour and a half. The Toll price is $1400 each way, for whole length of North/South toll route. If you coming down Fern Gully route, turn RIGHT at the traffic lights at the bottom of the hill, at the main cross road, as you reach Ocho Rios. For those taking the Toll road all the way to the north coast, simply turn RIGHT on exiting the Toll road, at the roundabout. See Google map pin https://maps.app.goo.gl/NTquXtGPr8vTLiQr6
You are driving to Ocho Rios. Whether travelling up the Toll road or the old Mt Rosser road, when you reach the north coast you turn RIGHT on to the main West/East bound coast road and drive toward and through Ocho Rios.
The location is about 4km beyond Ocho Rios, down a side road, (Marcliff Drive) directly opposite the Couples San Souci hotel, which in on the main road.
If you wish, you can exit the Toll road at the Moneague exit, follow signs for Ocho Rios, driving the old, quiet, country road route, down Fern Gully. This $900 each way.
Drive along the main road for about 4.5km. You pass the new Epping petrol station on your left. You pass through the traffic lights, over the bridge, which crosses the White river.
NB. After crossing the bridge travel a very short distance and take the 2nd RIGHT turning after the bridge. This is Marcliff Drive. The turning is directly opposite the Couples hotel. It will have a JAH3 sign.
Marcliff Drive is a dead end road. Travel about 500 yds. Park up neatly, at side of road or the grass area.
Drive the short journey towards Ocho Rios, when at the main cross road/traffic light junction, at Ocho Rios – go straight across. Follow route as described above.
The journey time upon reaching Ocho Rios is about ten minutes.

Assistance will be given. Bring walking sticks. Wear suitable wet clothing. The forest path is flat and trailed. Some slopes. About 6km
