Hashers! 2023 is here. Our first gathering is a 6km walk/run which is taking place in the very rural, forested and hilly border area of St. Mary and St. Catherine.
George, Maxime and Derron run a lovely establishment on the Orange River called “Cozy Corner”, in the district of Kendal, St. Mary, which is the start and end of today’s hash.

Please see the directions as explained by Fareleak! Fareleak says there are no JAH3 signs along the route, so please read this and do give yourself time to reach the location.
From Kingston drive to Bog Walk via the A1 (“Gorge”) or Sligoville. At the first roundabout (Juicy Patties in on your left), take the first exit (turn left), entering Bog Walk. There is an immediate T junction. Turn RIGHT.
Cross over a road bridge and make an immediate RIGHT turn onto the B2 towards Riversdale.
After about 8 minutes you’ll pass by “New Hall Farm” on your left (there’s a New Hall Great House somewhere around there, too). Continue along the B2.
After about 5/6 minutes you’ll enter Riversdale; make a RIGHT to continue along the B2.
Immediately after this right turn, you’ll cross a big natural bridge – you won’t notice it; but it’s what Riversdale is world-famous for.
Almost 2-and-a-half kilometre after the Riversdale right-turn, you keep left, crossing a bridge into Williamsfield. Continue along the B2.
About 9 minutes later (tek time !) you’ll pass Harewood (what’s in a name …) - continue along the B2.
After less than 1 km, pass through Darling Spring, continue along the B2.
Pass through a couple of fordings and enter “Old Troja”. Continue along the B2.
About 1.3 km after entering Old Troja, look out for a bus stop straight ahead of you that’s painted in the colours of the Jamaican flag.
Turn right (the bus stop on your left) and continue along the B2.
About 500 meter after this bus stop, go straight at the intersection – welcome to St. Mary ! (no parish sign was found, but believe us: you’ve just left St. Catherine). Continue along the B2.
After about another 500 meter passed this intersection, you have reached “Cozy Corner” (on your left) in Kendal district – park next to the road.
