Event Description
Hashers!, What’s this? A Hash set by the Generational guard – Pole Position, Energizer Bunny and Writer’s Block.
This is our RED DRESS HASH, so you need to wear something RED. Christmas is coming. It will only be 28 days to go. PRIZE for the Best Dressed Lady in Red and Man in Red!!!
This Hash is described by the Hares as follows:
A walking trail into the rolling landscape of the Guava Gap/Sherbourne Heights area in rural St Andrew. Approximately 7.5 km long, the trail takes us through varied scenes – from bucolic country trails to neighbourhoods of upscale residences. It’s about 60% paved roads, and 40% tracks through the bush. No rivers to cross but there is likely to be some rain (as is usual in the Stony Hill area at this time of year).
Hash Details
There is no food provided at this Hash. However, there will be Hash beer.

Hash Directions
Hash Circle and starting point are at the residence of Robert (Writers’ Block) at 22 Sherbourne Drive, just 10 minutes from Manor Park. From Manor Park take the Old Stony Hill Road (i.e. keep left at the fork in the road approaching Long Lane and where the new overhead traffic lights are located). Keep going up on Old Stony Hill Rd, ignoring all roads leading off until you get to the Stony Hill Methodist Church; then hang LEFT, onto Cavaliers Road. NB. These road names do not appear on Google maps. There is a sign on the right hand side of the road saying “to Mannings Hill Primary School”, a few feet from the Stony Hill Great House, directly opposite the church. After approximately 500 metres, immediately after a sharp left bend in the road, you will see a sign on the left saying “Welcome to Sherbourne Heights”. Take this road, which is Sherbourne Drive. Our destination, No 22, is approximately 300 metres from the entrance, immediately after a left turn in the road. See this Google pin link which will take you to the correct road. Just tap the Google pin, and then tap 'directions' and it will show the pin location.
Hash Extras
Remember, it's our Red Dress Hash - we need to see RED. Prizes for the best Lady and Gentleman who dresses accordingly. There are no rivers to cross, nor deep bush to traverse. The course is just short of 8km (5 miles) so do please take that into account , if not been walking/exercising for long time. Ideally should take an hour, hour and half max?
