Hashers, Our last gathering of the 2022. And maybe your last exercise for 2022!
We meet at Still Waters house at Riverside Heights, Gordon Town. 10.00am. This is a 6km trail, taking us on a lovely forest trail above Gordon Town. First beside the Flora river, which we cross, (very easy) and then a 3km uphill towards Dublin Castle, passing along a community track, then a section of the main driving road, before the old road which leads towards Dublin Castle. We turn off before Dublin Castle and trail downhill along a beautiful pathway above and by the Salt river back to Gordon Town.
The first section, after the river is steepish, but is a community pathway and manageable for most.

Hash Directions
This is very straightforward. Go to Gordon Town. When you reach the centre of Gordon Town you turn RIGHT and cross the bridge. You will see the Police station on your left as you turn to cross the bridge. Riverside Heights is immediately after the bridge, on your left side. See this Google pin: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZdbBQvNt5gM6hTDE8 NB. It is impossible for all, or anyone, to park in Still Waters yard. Please park in the road below his house, or in the Gordon Twon square and walk up to his house. Thank you.
Hash Extras
We cross the Flora river tributary. You can either wade or scrabble over rocks. Very easy. Section after river is steepish and narrow path. Full climb, over 3km is just over 900ft. Then it is down hill.

Thoroughly enjoyed Hash 572 in Gordon Town a week ago. Would anyone be able to send me an electronic copy or photo of the map that was produced as I would like to take family members, who weren’t able to be there, on same route over the Christmas holidays?
