Yes, you will get wet. We pass through a natural pool en route, where Hashers can swim, for about 15 minutes, before heading ON ON along the tributary and then up the hill!
Walking poles/ sticks highly recommended

Curry rundung with roast breadfruit, choice ground provisions and veg salad (to die for) OR curry chicken with gungo peas and rice and veg salad. Meals served in a calabash. Bring your fork to be environmentally friendly, BUT should you forget we gat plastic.

Total distance is approximately 48 Km from the Harbour View Roundabout.. Travel time about 1hr 20 mins. From Harbour View Roundabout, drive towards St Thomas for about 50 minutes. At the Morant Bay Roundabout turn LEFT (by the Petcom petrol station) in the direction towards Seaforth. Proceed for another NB...Road is poor but manageable by sedans. In about 10 minutes you will have reached the destination, which is a blue bar 'Ackerman Park Bar'. About 2.4kms in, veer RIGHT at the Stony Gut sign.
2.5km, then make an acute RIGHT (hair pin turn) at the “Welcome to Spring Garden” sign.
After a minute, turn LEFT at the Spring Garden Square.
